How to apply to UEI College’s Dental Assistant program?

To apply to UEI College’s Dental Assistant program, give us a call or fill out our online form, and one of our admission representatives will be in touch.

If you’re near a campus, we invite you to come in during our business hours and go for a tour. Take a look at our classrooms and labs and meet the instructors.

At the conclusion of the tour, we’ll have you sit down with our financial aid team to discuss any options to help cover the cost of your education. We know paying for school is never easy, but financial aid grants and scholarships are available to those who qualify.

It’s a good idea to bring a copy of your high school transcripts with you to speed up the enrollment process.

Does UEI College offer financial aid for the Dental Assistant program?

Yes, UEI College offers financial aid to those who qualify. We know that paying for school can be a barrier for many students. Our financial aid department will help you fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to see if you qualify for any grants or loans. Scholarships may also be available.

What are the requirements to become a dental assistant?

You’ll need to have a high school diploma to begin training as a dental assistant. Once you’ve achieved that, there are no additional requirements or prerequisites for beginning the Dental Assistant program. You do not have to complete a two- or four-year college program to become a dental assistant. Plus, you could begin this new career in less than a year.

How long does it take to become a dental assistant?

One of the things that makes becoming a dental assistant so appealing is that it can be achieved in less than a year. In as few as ten months, you can become a dental assistant, working hands-on with patients and dentists in a growing field. You’ll gain experience through labs with live equipment and an on-the-job externship working in an actual dental office. In a short amount of time, you can feel confident stepping into a new entry-level career in the dental field.
